 Abortion should not now or ever be used as a contraceptive device.  If you are going to have sex; you need to take responsibility for your actions.  Pleasure is too highly rated without any desire for responsibility for the actions.  You play, you pay.

 However, in the case of rape, incest (which is a type of rape) and medical danger to the mother; abortion is a viable option and right with God.  Anyone teaching contrary opinions is doing so for emotional factors and not based on religious theory or scholastic study.  The issue of life at the time of conception is the creation of man, not God.

Abortion is an issue of morality.  The issue which makes the matter a sin is the issue of reason.  If your reason for an abortion is a matter of convenience; your actions are a sin because they are based solely on one's self.  If your reason for abortion is a matter of violence and/or endangerment; your actions are innocent and not a sin.

 I would also like to point out the most contrary factor of "Right to Life."  Over ninety-five percent of the people who claim they are anti-abortion based on religious teachings are also pro death penalty, which is taking a life.  This makes you a complete hypocrite and proves you only take your religious teachings to heart when they are convenient for you.  If they do not fit your own prejudiced and jaded outlook on life; you throw them away and do as you please because they really do not mean anything to you but as a crutch to justify your imposition of will on others in the name of God.  You are a fanatic and a heretic.  You are the same as the terrorist committing suicide bombings and driving planes into buildings.  You are no different and you are only lying to yourself if you think you are. 

 Furthermore, if it is your opinion that abortion is wrong; do not have an abortion.  It is your choice.  However, it is not your right to impose your beliefs on everyone else or to think you have such a right.  You are violating the rights of others for your own selfish benefit and it is not your right.

God has spoken on the subject, in the Old Testament.  He has provided a formula for cleaning a woman of a child, if the husband suspects infidelity or rape.  Therefore, God agrees there is a time and a place for abortion.  There is no mention of the subject in the New Testament, one way or the other.

 Government funding should not be used to pay for abortions but in the cases of rape, incest or threat to life.  However, government funding should also not be used to pay for countless children born for no other reason than some one wanted to have a good time and they have a right to have as many children as they want.  Yes, they have those rights but those are individual rights and they are not the responsibility of the public.  People need to be accountable for their actions and entitlements are not the answer to anything.  No one is automatically entitled to anything.

 Yes, humanity has a responsibility for the care and protection of children.  Therefore, it has a responsibility to make sure the parties having the children are able to care for those children.  Since this is a free society; we cannot just deny people that are obviously unfit to raise children, the opportunity to have children but we can place boundaries.  If you are unfit and incapable of raising the children you are bearing and the State is going to have to pay for these children; your ability to have children should be revoked.  Your tubes should be tied and only reversed if and when your situation is changed or altered where you are able to care for your children and have stability.  Of course, we are not sexiest.  If you are a single male and have produced more than three children without being able to care or protect those children; you should have your tubes cut and tied as well.  The State should not be paying for your pleasures because you are not responsible or capable for paying for your play or the results of your play. 

 I may sound harsh but the truth can be very harsh.  We owe you nothing and many of us are tired of paying for the hedonism of the world.

 Of course, I need to talk on the subject of commitment and marriage in a much broader sense than the issues presented here but this article will continue to grow and expand over time.  The purpose is to stimulate thought, conversation and reasoning.  I do not expect you to agree or even want you to agree.  I want you to discuss the points.
